It’s Time to Show Off
You’ve been practicing hard. You’re ready to show everyone what you’ve learned. We’ve got you covered! We hold student recitals regularly, so you’ll get a chance to play some music or sing for your family and friends. Recitals provide a great opportunity for you to get comfortable with playing for an audience. Don’t worry if performing in front of people isn’t your thing though – recitals aren’t mandatory. One of our primary goals is to make learning music fun (not scary), so you can decide if/when you are ready to perform.
How to Perform in the Recitals
Instructors schedule the recitals, so they will let you know when an opportunity to perform is coming up. You can discuss with your instructor whether or not it is a good time to test out what you’ve learned or if a little more practice might be the best option for now. Since instructors schedule the performance opportunities, some may have more than others. If performing for an audience is important to you, let us know. We work hard to make sure you work with the right instructor. Once a recital’s date and time are finalized, we will add it to our calendar.
Where Are They Held?
Good news! They are held on-site in our recital area (in the 101 Gathering Park Circle building), so if you know how to get to your lessons, you’ll know how to get to the recitals too. That was easy, wasn’t it?
